 | El Naturalista originates from the La Rioja region in Spain, an area known
for its artisan style of manufacturing shoes. El Naturalista prides itself
in being as green as possible by using biodegradable substances, recycling
production material, and by using recycled rubber and PU for footbeds.
El Naturalista creates shoes with nature in mind first, utilizing methods
such as vegetable dyed leathers, and tanning leather using river stones &
tree barks which gives each shoe its own unique look.
El Naturalista also takes pride in giving back to its global community.
El Naturalista has recently teamed up wtih 1% of the Planet, meaning 1% of
profit generated from El Naturalista's shoes gets donated to charitable
organizations around the world. Additionally, El Naturalista created the Atauchi Project in 2005,
it's own charity that
supports abandoned and disabled children in Peru, and also helps rebuild
schools. For every one pair sold, El Naturalista donates 1 Euro to this
project.
