Sales grew dramatically with the introduction of fashion-forward styles with flexible polyurethane outsoles.so much so that their "Professional" model which was marketed exclusively by the Dansko brand for 17 years, became the biggest selling, most widely recognized clog in history. In September 2007 after Dansko had decided to switch the sourcing of their shoes from Sanita in Europe to China, Sanita decided to resume marketing and selling the Professional under their own brand label again, thereby retaining their high quality manufacturing standards.
