  • Saucony's minimalist footwear line is really picking up steam and press thanks to the Progrid Kinvara. A true hybrid shoe, the Kinvara has a heel to drop very similar to most racing flats- 4 mm. What this means is that the Kinvara is light, responsive, and conducive to mid or forefoot striking. The midsole offers a very low profile from heel to toe (18 mm rearfoot, 14 mm forefoot) which is comparable to many lightweight trainers. The advantage to this is that shoe looks and feels very fast and can be used as a workout or racing shoe, but is still durable and cushioned enough to be doubled as a daily trainer for those seeking a minimalistic shoe. Features include:
    • Weight- 7.7 ounces (size 9)
    • XT 900 outsole adds durability enabling everyday use in addition to racing
    • Sizing- Some color options are unisex, meaning they are sized in mens sizes, but can be worn by women. Colors are noted if they are unisex. To find your equivalent size in womens shoes, subtract 1.5. For example, if you wear size 9 in womens shoes, order a size 7.5.
